Eötvös Mentorship 2018/2019

I am extremely honoured and excited to have been named as one of two composers on the 2018-19 Mentorship Programme run through the Peter Eötvös Foundation. Over the next two years I will write four new pieces, travel repeatedly to Budapest and Paris, and work closely with Mr. Eötvös and an array of other composers, conductors and industry professionals as a composer.  

The new pieces include a chamber ensemble (drawn from Stravinsky’s Soldier’s Tale), String Trio (my second), Wind Quintet (my third!) and a concerto for wind instrument and orchestra.  Our first sessions take place in February 2018, and I will be back with updates then!
