New CD: Speak, Be Silent (Riot Ensemble)

15.03.19 Riot Ensemble’s new CD Speak, Be Silent – for which I conducted the recording sessions in Air Studios, and also edited and mixed – will be released on HCR Records (via NMC) this March.  The CD includes first recordings from Rebecca Saunders (Stirrings Still II), Chaya Czernowin (Ayre: Towed through plumes, thicket, asphalt, sawdust and hazardous air I shall not forget the sound of), Liza Lim’s Violin Concerto (Speak, Be Silent), and Mirela Ivicevic (Baby Magnify/Lilith’s New Toy) along with Anna Thorvaldsdottir’s Ró.
